Project Profile
FM Global
New headquarters for Fortune 500 insurance company

FM Global is the world’s leading insurer of industrial and commercial property risk. The company engaged Odeh Engineers as part of a design-build team in early 2008 to build a new 357,000 gsf office, data center, and parking garage to replace its existing nearby offices. Due to an expiring lease, FM Global required the team to complete the project on an extremely aggressive 18-month schedule.

By using BIM and 3D structural design tools, the Odeh team completed design of an early steel and foundation package in less than 60 days. This, in turn, enabled a nearly seamless process of shop drawing review, fabrication and erection was used to deliver the project on schedule and with minimal field changes.
